I fell in love with the “We Still Do” sign last year when I saw it from Ever Thine Home
I love the thought that even though my husband and I have been married over 22 years we would say “I do” all over again!
I also decorated the mantle with their “How do I love Thee” heart cards.
Inside each card is an explanation of the verse on the front! They are great conversation starters for your Valentine Table too!
In the morning my family wakes up to a little Valentine! I give each of my children a card. I write on the inside what I love most about them! I also give them a little gift too. We have a family dinner where I can love on all of them by making a favorite family meal & dessert.
Kids love traditions. My kids are teenagers now, but they still love having the same traditions. We have Birthday traditions, Thanksgiving traditions, Christmas traditions, Easter traditions, family dinners & first day of school traditions. I think traditions are great for kids. It gives them a sense that family is important and that they belong to something special.
Another one of my favorite decorating obsessions is decorating my tiered tray from Painted Fox
I can’t believe how young we look.
When I look at this picture it brings me back to that day. That was the best day of my life. People still talk about how I had the biggest smile on my face.
Don’t you just love that frame! You can find it from Ever Thine Home too, right here!
These vintage cards are so cute too. I used the garland chain and put them on my other mantle. Aren’t they so fun?
This Chalkboard heart is so cute! If you grew up in the 80’s remember the “true-love-forever” symbol that was so cool?
I thought it would be cute to hang in the kitchen too, to let your family or guests know what is for dinner.
You can find this cute heart, here.
I’m saving my favorite for last.
I LOVE throw pillows.
The gold stag pillow is a favorite. My son, Erik bought it for me for Christmas. The 1994 pillow is actually a custom pillow from Porter Lane home.
But let’s talk about the “We Still Do” pillow. We got married in 1994 and having that pillow next to the We Still Do pillow is a perfect reminder to us and our children that it has all been worth it & we are still as committed as we were on our wedding day.
Happy Valentine’s Day!
