After Valentine’s Day I have a hard time figuring out how to decorate my front door. I live in the North East so I am knee-deep in snow ( well, actually hip deep this year!) So, I want a winter wreath, but I don’t want it to look like Christmas, or Spring just yet 😉
A few months ago, my daughter was a guest writer on my blog! She loves to craft. So she shared this snowflake craft with all of you! You can read about that here.
So I turned her craft into my DIY wreath this year.
I love it on my pantry door too
The only thing I added to my daughter’s original supply list was the little pom-poms!
- popsicle sticks
- glue gun
- white craft paint
- small white pom-poms
- lay out your design first on the floor or a table
- Then start gluing away!
- Paint your snowflake white.
- hang in on the wall or a window or even a door
Here is Annika’s snowflake:
She has them all over one of her walls in her bedroom.
I followed her directions. ( you can see that post here) & then I added the pom-poms. Super easy!
